The first steps of the New York-based brand date back to 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish this extraordinary place.
Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettles, hemp, and linen are used to make the rugs. For dyeing, mainly plants are utilized, which is an eco-friendly processing method and will appeal to all those who care about ecology.
All products are made in Nepal, where highly skilled weavers craft them by hand. Afterwards, the rugs are sent to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining their final appearance. Thanks to an increased content of lanolin, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a distinctive shine.
