The New York-based Warp & Weft brand dates back to 2001, when Michael Mandapati decided to establish a company unlike any other.
Materials used for making the rugs include Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, nettle, hemp, and linen. Plants also participate in the dyeing process, which will surely appeal to all those who care about the ecosystem.
All products are made in Nepal, where highly skilled artisans craft them by hand. Afterwards, the rugs are shipped to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining their final appearance. Thanks to a higher content of lanolin, these products are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a unique sheen.
The variety of patterns means that Warp & Weft’s collection offers a unique piece to suit even the most refined tastes.
