The first steps of the New York-based brand Warp & Weft date back to 2001, when Michael Mandapati decided to establish a company specializing in luxury rugs.
They are crafted using Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettle, hemp, and linen. For dyeing, mostly plants are used, which will surely appeal to all those who care about the ecosystem.
All products are made in Nepal, where highly skilled weavers craft them by hand. The rugs are then shipped to Switzerland, where they are finished, acquiring a unique appearance. Thanks to a higher content of lanolin, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and gain a beautiful sheen.
The variety of patterns ensures that Warp & Weft offers a unique piece to suit even the most refined preferences.
