MARIONI is a family story

The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, with a particular focus on color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creativity in details and manual craftsmanship.

After Paolo's untimely death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, which presents an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and signals success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products referencing the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has led the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.

In 2018, the company's firstborn Vittoria joined as head of communication and quality to witness further generational evolution. In this way, the company moves into the present with a wealth of fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
