Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920 opening a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, as the modern design of Sartori carpets gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand embraced this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the whole world. These elegant carpets gained recognition worldwide, becoming a coveted item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so much that it became necessary to open a headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. Following collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., an innovative idea paved the way: using old carpets to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, in a fresh and youthful style. This is how the Vintage Patchwork Carpet was born, telling a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. In this way, a unique and very special carpet is created, combining noble materials and perfectly suited to contemporary environments and modern furniture needs.
