Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling exquisite carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, followed by a second in Rovigo in 1920, specializing in home furnishings. In the 1950s, as the modern design of Sartori carpets gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand embraced this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the whole world. These exciting carpets gained recognition worldwide, becoming a sought-after item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it required opening headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. From collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., a modern idea took shape: repurposing old carpets to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, in a fresh and youthful style. This gave birth to the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This results in a unique and very special carpet, a blend of noble materials that perfectly fits contemporary environments and meets the needs of modern furniture.
