Art Nouveau - freedom of form
- Cosi Tabellini artistic home accessories are divided into three collections - Thistle (functional but artistic), Century (modern, sophisticated and elegant) and Art Nouveau (expressive, bold, yet subtle).
- Art Nouveau as a reaction to academic art (Art Nouveau can be also understood as a movement of a revolt against academic mission of artistic unity and its radical rules) of the 19th century, was inspired by natural forms and structures.
- It was not only the style of art but also an international philosophy, the kind of a lifestyle - the aesthetic one. Taking inspiration from the unruly aspects of the natural world, secession is not only full of the structures of flowers and leafs, but albo curved, abstract, sinuous lines taken from botanical studies, the forms of organisms from the lands and seas.

Pewter properties and uses
Now pewter is used mostly in production of decorative objects. Pewter as a metal alloy is solid yet plastic enough for artistic usage. Pewter is made primarly of tin, with varying ammount of antimony (used to make the pewter harder) and copper (to make it more malleable).
Pewter was used by the ancient Egyptians and later the Romans and after various developments in pottery in 18th and 19th centuries. Lot of pewter artifacts from the early 18th century are found in the form of accessories such as plates, dishes, basins, spoons, measures, flagons teapots, sugar bowls, beer steins and jugs.
