| Additional information | Nib: 18-carat gold (available: F, M, B). The name Byakudan-nuri comes from the body color that changes over time, similar to the Byakudan (sandalwood) incense wood used in Kodo (traditional incense ceremony). The traditional Japanese technique was passed down from generation to generation. Yakumo, floating clouds painted on the ceiling of Izumo Shrine, was used as the motif. The emerging sea of clouds and sky is painted on the barrel. It is a fountain pen in a deep mock-up color giving a mystical impression. |
