Pewter is an alloy of three metals: tin (90-98%), antimony (0.5-8%), and copper (0.25-2.5%). It is an extremely durable and hard, yet malleable material. The wide range of patterns offered by Cosi Tabellini showcases three collectionsnamed:Thistle, Art Noveau, and Century.These three collections reflect different approaches to design. The first is based on the idea that everyday objects should be aesthetically pleasing but primarily functional, crafted in an elegant, simple manner — with symmetrical lines, from solid materials, where every element of the final form is carefully thought out.
Art Noveau is the complete opposite of Thistle — decorated items that combine functionality with artistic craftsmanship, elaborate Art Nouveau style, asymmetry, free-form compositions, and rich ornamentation, reflecting the artistic soul of the owner.
