Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop appears to be entirely independent of the trends that have dominated the industry over the years. Its most important value is a commitment to tradition, which is now maintained by the fourth generation of these Italian artisans.

The owners firmly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor force, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the products. For this reason, their company's work philosophy places a special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this Italian family is not closed to change. Changes are welcome, provided they introduce elements consistent with the existing idea and can withstand years of quality testing.

Unlike others, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized sections of workers, but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
The production uses the highest quality materials — blades are made of steel, while handles are made, among others, from bison, buffalo, deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.

The brand owners encourage that, despite being designed for everyday use, their knives should be treated with respect, which guarantees their longevity. Each one is, after all, a small, unique artifact.
