Unique Berti Knives semi-hard cheese knife

Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop appears to be completely independent of the trends that have dominated the industry over the years. Its most important value is a commitment to tradition, which is now maintained by the fourth generation of Italian artisans.

The owners strongly oppose the idea of mass production by random labor force, which they believe would lead to the loss of the identity of the products. For this reason, their company's work philosophy places a special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this Italian family is not closed to change. Changes are welcome as long as they incorporate elements consistent with the existing idea and can withstand years of quality testing.

Unlike others, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized sections of workers, but are often performed from start to finish by the same individual. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
High-quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, while handles are made from materials such as buffalo horn, bison horn, deer antler, or 'bosso' wood.

The owners encourage that their knives, although intended for everyday use, be treated with respect, which guarantees their longevity. Each one is a small, unique artifact.
