Unique bathroom floor stand made of gold-plated brass – Il Paralume Marina

The exciting combination of high-quality materials with exceptional style makes IL PARALUME MARINA a synonym for the brand.

This Italian company does not produce, but creates. Design and innovation, research and development meet the techniques of master artisans. The combination of brass in the ground, Italian crystal, Murano glass, silk, and organza, topped with Swarovski Elements, leaves no room for compromise. The history of IL PARALUME MARINA began in 1987 when the couple Ferronato-Simoncello founded a small family workshop based on a shared passion for decorative lighting.

Over the years, their sons Thomas and Simone drove the brand forward, respectively, towards global commercial expansion and high technical standards in the construction of lighting fixtures. In subsequent years, their work elevated PARALUME MARINA to an international signature, and the brand became a symbol of dedication and creativity combined with the finest craftsmanship, exclusively Made in Italy.

The production is based on ancient techniques of brass casting, Italian crystal, Murano glass blowing, and the unique style of hand-sewn lampshades by Mrs. Marina’s workshop. Authentic Swarovski crystal enhances the luminous brilliance of these exceptional elements. Each creation is handcrafted according to the client’s needs.

Marina Paralume specializes in custom-made elements tailored to client wishes and offers a wide range of fabrics, finishes, brass details, glass colors, as well as crystals to draw inspiration from. This allows clients to choose something unique and one-of-a-kind, created solely by and for them. Architects and designers at IL PARALUME MARINA are available to develop the perfect collection for any interior, from chandeliers to recessed spotlights, curtain rods, and bathroom accessories. The owners are proud to fulfill every request, whether for private luxurious homes or prestigious hotels. IL PARALUME MARINA’s lighting designs can be admired worldwide.

Passion, dedication, and attention to detail animate Mrs. Marina’s atelier. Modern technologies combine traditional manual processes to produce a completely prestigious and perfect product, 100% made in Italy. Continuous research and innovation in fabrics and finishes make Il Paralume Marina a leader in custom creations. Brass casting in the ground is an ancient art that still excites. Die casting creates objects of perfection and the highest quality, synonymous with luxury and elegance, exclusively in Italy. We cast metal, transforming architects’ and designers’ ideas into exclusive objects, from prototypes and molds to finished products.

Master artisans, who pass down the ancient Murano craft, guarantee a high-quality product and undeniable excellence. Fully handcrafted production and sophisticated techniques make each item unique. The expertise of these masters is the foundation for creating contemporary furniture and emotional objects. The strength of Marina’s lampshades lies in their superb quality and flexibility to meet the demands of the ever-changing international market. Crystal is proudly only Italian. It is obtained by melting in special furnaces at high temperatures above 1400°C, using the highest quality raw materials, resulting in a product with over 24% PbO, which gives it unparalleled clarity and transparency. Crystal processing is done manually; it is mouth-blown and engraved entirely by hand, making each piece a “work of art.”

Every project is a challenge that the brand approaches with seriousness and passion, dedicated to the client and obsessively attentive to detail. Marina Paralume, with its experience and an in-house team of designers and engineers, guarantees exclusive service to professionals seeking decorative lighting solutions, offering stylistic, technical, and economic alternatives tailored to client wishes.
