The origins of the New York-based W&W brand date back to 2001, when Michael Mandapati decided to establish a company unlike any other.
The production of rugs uses raw materials such as Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettles, hemp, and linen. Plants also participate in the dyeing process, which will surely appeal to those who care about the environment.
All products are made in Nepal, where highly skilled weavers craft them by hand. The rugs are then transported to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to a higher content of lanolin, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a distinctive shine.
