40 years ago, in 1977, two brothers, Piero and Giuseppe Pistolesi, began their journey with a small workshop producing luxury furniture inspired by tradition. It is this tradition that plays a key role in the entire concept and classic design. An intriguing history combined with traditional production technologies is today the complete picture of the company F.LLI PISTOLESI.
After many years, Piero and Giuseppe have not changed their concept and continue to produce, selecting materials and models in accordance with the tradition of original antiques, executing finishes and decorations using past techniques that sometimes disappeared or were no longer used. This incredibly inspiring passion has also been followed by their sons, who actively participate in production, creating a team, and all these features perfectly harmonize together, allowing the furniture to be successfully exported worldwide.
It is a shared success of the entire multi-generational family, their strength, innate sensitivity to great style, and solid furniture craftsmanship. Italian handmade work is appreciated today by connoisseurs of good design in every country. The entire production process has remained unchanged for many years, which requires dedication and immense determination. First, the appropriate solid wood is selected to be stored and properly dried. Then, unique sketches of future projects are hand-drawn, taking shape on paper over many days.
Next comes the long and highly meticulous process of creating exclusive furniture from scratch for stylish interiors. The materials used in crafting these beautiful pieces of functional art include: Multi-layered lime wood, inlaid oak burl veneered and internally made of tanganika walnut, Handles, keys, plates, knobs in metal finish in antique gold color, tulipier from solid multi-layered wood with inserts of rosewood and natural white veneered maple, Semi-gloss finish with shellac made by hand from natural water resins, Inlaid walnut leaf, veneered with a thickness of 27 mm on plywood layers pressed using a curved matrix.
