MARIONI is a family story
The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has taken on its current corporate form. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, with particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creativity in details and craftsmanship.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and guided its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection debut, which presents an extraordinary combination of ceramic/tissue and signals success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and management evolution that led the company to face new digitalization challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s daughter, joined the company as head of communication and quality, to attest to further generational evolution. In this way, the company reaches the present with fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are made available to the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
