MARIONI is a family story
The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has taken on its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, product lines for interior furnishings were gradually developed, with particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creative details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and expansion into international markets.
It was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection debut, which presents an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and signals success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that led the company to face new digitalization challenges, culminating in the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.
In 2018, the company's firstborn Vittoria joined as head of communication and quality to attest to further generational evolution.
