The Italian workshop D Parmy was founded in 2012 out of love for wood and beautiful writing instruments. Damiano Parmiggiani, a connoisseur of stylish fountain pens, is the owner of the historic brand based in Nowellera. Damiano initiated a very ambitious project with a highly skilled team. It all started with a wooden pen, and it continues to this day…
Centuries-old inlay tradition in the nearby town of Rolo has been part of D-Parmy’s philosophy from the very beginning, appearing in the rings and details of some models. Over the years, this art has increasingly influenced the aesthetic of the manufactory. The body is produced through a wood turning process. Thanks to the craftsmanship of the artisans, the thickness of the raw material applied is overcome. The clip and other metal parts are also produced by D-Parmy, and the entire assembly is done by hand. D-Parmy manufactures high-quality fountain pens using the most precious natural material: wood. Passionate and sensitive artisans turn, carve, inlay, and paint the wood, creating a unique object of absolute value from nature. The pens and ballpoint pens are entirely produced and assembled in Reggio Emilia (Italy), which is why our Made in Italy brand is well known worldwide.
