MARIONI is a family story
The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its interior accessories lines, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are characterized by creative details and handcrafted craftsmanship.
After Paolo's untimely death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets.
During this period, the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric, and signaling success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products inspired by the past, with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that prepared the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the brand continues to evolve, enriched by fifty years of craftsmanship and management expertise, offering the most refined and demanding clients a fully Italian luxury experience.
