The beginnings of Warp & Weft’s New York operation date back to 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish an exclusive brand. They use, among other materials, Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettles, hemp, and linen for production.
For dyeing, mainly plants are used, which will appeal to all those who care about ecology.
The products are made in Nepal, where highly skilled artisans craft them by hand. They are then shipped to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining their distinctive appearance. Thanks to a higher content of lanolin, they are also softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a unique shine.
The variety of decorations means that Warp & Weft’s offer includes a gem for even the most discerning tastes.
