MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate character. Starting from ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its range of interior accessories, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creative details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and international expansion.
It was during this time that the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic and fabric, and promising success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution, which led the brand to face new challenges of digitalization, culminating in the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.
In 2018, Vittoria, the firstborn, joined the company as head of communication and quality to attest to further generational evolution. In this way, the company reaches the present with a wealth of fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
