The skin is folded into a new pattern, like origami art: with this gesture, we are able to create and carve its shape. Tall Bao is the largest in the BAO family, measuring: 50x35x50h cm.
Their story is that of a company designing and producing sustainable, high-quality artisanal furniture. Tonucci Collection is a brand of Tonucci Design studio.
Tonucci Design studio was founded in 1970, when Enrico Tonucci began his design activity working for important Italian and international furniture companies, gaining significant experience as a designer, and over the years as an entrepreneur, through the founding and management of Triangolo, Arte Cuoio, and Teatro delle Muse. Viola Tonucci, who studied in Urbino and at IED in Milan, completing degrees related to graphic design and industrial design with a specialization in jewelry design, started collaborating with the studio in 2004, becoming a partner in 2012 until 2022, when she acquired a majority stake and took over the management of the brand.
Currently, the team consists of a handful of trusted collaborators who complement the sales and production departments.
MISSION
The creation of furniture and interior accessories by this company is carried out using natural materials with respect for the environment and people. The company's mission is to genuinely combine design and manufacturing processes to create beauty and comfort, considering new environmental sensitivities and caring for the well-being of individuals in both public and private spaces.
All production takes place in Italy, by the finest artisans
