How did it all start...

The history of SEBASTIANSTURM - Innovative Accessories begins in 2012. The initial thought - "I will make wood portable!" was part of Sebastian Sturm's master's thesis in engineering studies. He thus deals with the design and production of protective covers and cases for notebooks and mobile phones, which should ultimately be made of natural wood.

For this reason, in close cooperation with a veneer manufacturer, he developed a new veneering technology, thanks to which it was possible not only to produce wood that is durable but also flexible and malleable in three dimensions. What initially seemed like a difficult challenge quickly turned out to be promising.

As this development process proved successful, more and more people became enthusiastic about his innovative concept. They were so inspired and enthusiastic about the new veneer that he created designs for bag shapes, patterns, and material combinations in the evenings.

Due to the overwhelming feedback on the first samples, Sebastian Sturm was sure that this idea could have potential and decided to conquer the fashion world.

From the beginning, he was sure that he wanted to produce only luxury products with the highest quality standards. Therefore, only environmentally friendly tanned leather was used. He also places great importance on the quality of workmanship when it comes to further processing. He found this art in a traditional company in southern Germany. It is produced to high social standards. The result of these efforts is that each bag is a unique piece of work crafted by master craftsmen!
