The primary material used in production is lava stone, which is formed from flowing and solidifying magma from Mount Etna. The creation process begins with the delivery of whole lava blocks, which are then processed and shaped according to customer wishes. Next, they undergo ceramization at a temperature of 950°C. This makes them highly resistant to stains, scratches, acids, water, frost, and sunlight—especially important for outdoor use. Upon request, the manufactory customizes dimensions, patterns, and shapes of the countertops according to client specifications. Recommended products include legs, frames, and supports made of metal, iron, or cast iron.
