History of Petri Firenze

Dynamic, exceptional collections, attention to detail, and the ability to produce both small and large quantities with respect for client needs and deadlines: these have always been the brand’s strengths. Founded in 1991, it initially specialized in cutlery and silver furniture accessories, thanks to the owners’ experience gained in other Florentine companies in the industry. This consolidated “know-how” allowed the brand to start producing for many major global manufacturers in the silver decoration sector.

Over time, however, public tastes and market needs changed, prompting Simone Petri to experiment with new approaches. Collections became more diverse and are now renewed twice a year. While maintaining a connection to traditional silver work, they have been enriched with extraordinary objects and materials, from gemstones to quartz, from coral to shells, from animal horns to fossils. Petri’s brand is capable of managing the entire production cycle: from designing the object, even using the latest technology, to creating prototypes, and finally delivering a finished item with every detail perfected.

Thanks to new series, in addition to the dominant Italian market in the early years, exports have been added, now representing the “main activity” of the brand with significant commercial opportunities, especially across Europe, the United States, and Arab countries. Its participation in major trade fairs such as Maison et Objet in Paris and Homi in Milan has also had a significant impact.
