Goti Terrecotte boasts over fifty years of experience born from the strong passions of its owner Giancarlo. Mr. Giancarlo began his journey as a ceramic decorator apprentice, later opening a small artisan workshop in Sesto Fiorentino after marrying Ms. Fiorella Goti. The expansion took place within a few years, and in 1973, the company advanced and established its brand in Calenzano, a few kilometers from Florence, in Tuscany. The knowledge Giancarlo gained over the years through experimenting with materials and production techniques includes:

- Artistic casting of ceramic art, replacing traditional molding processes

- Use of clay from the Impruneta quarries for the production of frost-resistant cookware made from clay with a unique family recipe, mixed and kneaded with water to create professional or outdoor food ovens with high-certified resistance and quality of fireproof terracotta, fired at 1040°C.

A well-equipped laboratory allows for the handcrafted and personalized creation of jars, tiles, statues, pots, vases, sinks, chimneys, bricks on order, bas-reliefs, and various decorative items. The product range, from classic to modern furniture, includes over 1000 items in the catalog. Additionally, the brand is prepared to produce items based on drawings or orders. Giancarlo, owner of Goti Terrecotte d'Autore, states that 90% of production goes to the “garden of clients”.

Artifacts are left to cook for 5 days in a dedicated oven at 1040°C. Only careful drying before firing prevents cracking during firing and ensures high mechanical resistance. High quality is guaranteed, certified, and laboratory-certified for refractory mass. Raw materials used for processing come directly from the Impruneta quarries. The clay present in Impruneta gives the finished product a unique color and extraordinary frost resistance.

Of course, the manufacturing process is also refined and more complex, with longer times: Impruneta clay is processed through molding, has very slow drying times, and is fired at extremely high temperatures.
