Redesigned classic director's chair. Made from solid black walnut or iroko wood. The backrest and seat can be upholstered with full-grain leather, frosted leather, fabric, or customer’s fabric. Armrests are always made of leather, full-grain leather, or frosted leather. Joints are stainless steel, and the frame is crafted from brushed polished aluminium, treated for corrosion resistance.
Their history is the story of a company designing and producing sustainable, high-quality artisan furniture. Tonucci Collection is a workshop of Tonucci Design studio.
Tonucci Design studio was founded in 1970, when Enrico Tonucci began his design career working with prominent Italian and international furniture brands, gaining significant experience as a designer, and over the years as an entrepreneur, through the creation and management of Triangolo, Arte Cuoio, and Teatro delle Muse companies. Viola Tonucci, educated in Urbino and at IED in Milan, with studies in graphics and industrial design with a specialization in jewelry design, started collaborating with the studio in 2004, becoming a partner in 2012, and in 2022 acquired a majority stake and took over management of the brand.
Currently, the team consists of a handful of trusted collaborators who complement the sales and production departments.
MISSION
The company's furniture and interior accessories are produced from natural materials with respect for the environment and people. The company's mission is to combine design and manufacturing processes to create beauty and comfort, taking into account new environmental sensitivities and care for the well-being of individuals in both public and private spaces.
All production takes place in Italy, by the finest artisans from the regions between Marche and Romania.
