The first steps of Warp & Weft’s New York operation took place in 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish a company specializing in luxury rugs.
They are made from Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettles, hemp, and linen. These plants are also used for dyeing, which will surely appeal to all eco-conscious consumers.
All products are handcrafted in Nepal by highly skilled weavers. Afterwards, the rugs are transported to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining their unique appearance. Thanks to an increased amount of lanolin, these products are softer, more stain-resistant, and have a remarkable shine.
The variety of patterns means that Warp & Weft’s collection offers a gem to match even the most refined preferences.
