MARIONI is a family story
The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has taken on its current corporate form. Starting with ceramic materials, product lines for interior furnishings were gradually developed, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creativity in details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and expansion into international markets.
During this time, the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and heralding success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has positioned the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of a proprietary archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communication and quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the brand enters the present with fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
