Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920, a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, when Sartori’s innovative carpet designs gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand seized this trend and expanded its market design to the whole world. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that a headquarters was opened in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. Since collaborating with Diesel S.p.a., a modern idea has been paving the way: using old carpets to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This gave birth to the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This process results in a unique and very special rug, a synthesis of noble materials that fits perfectly into contemporary environments and meets the needs of modern furniture.
