Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful rugs in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920, a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings. In the 1950s, when Sartori’s innovative rug designs gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand seized this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the world. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so much that a headquarters was established in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. From collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., a modern idea took shape: using old rugs to create something entirely new and give them a second life, aligned with a fresh and youthful style. This gave birth to the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn.
