Sartori is an Italian manufacturer born in the heart of Veneto, driven by a passion for good design and a long tradition of handcrafted knots. Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920, a second in Rovigo, selling home furnishings.  In the 1950s, as the modern design of Sartori carpets gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand embraced this trend and expanded its market design to the whole world. These exciting carpets gained recognition worldwide, becoming a sought-after item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it required opening a headquarters in China. An important project was launched in 2008. From collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., a modern idea paved the way: using old carpets to create something entirely new and give them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This gave birth to the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and sewn by hand. In this way, a unique and very special carpet is created, a blend of noble materials that fits perfectly into contemporary environments and meets the needs of modern furniture.
