Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful rugs in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920, a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, as the modern pattern of Sartori rugs gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand seized this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the whole world. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so much that it became necessary to open a headquarters in China. An important project was launched in 2008. Following a collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., a modern idea took shape: using old rugs to create something entirely new and give them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This gave birth to the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and sewn by hand. In this way, a unique and very special rug is created, a synthesis of noble materials that fits perfectly into contemporary environments and meets the needs of modern furniture.
