MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, with a focus on color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their pieces are characterized by attention to detail and craftsmanship.
After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and international expansion.
It was during this time that the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramics and textiles, and promising success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products that reference the past with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that prepared the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of a 3D archive of models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the brand continues to evolve, enriched by fifty years of experience, where artisanal craftsmanship and management concepts are offered to the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
