Simple yet beautiful – this is how the patterns used by the founders of Fort Street Studio can be briefly described. Here, too, in the Border model, we are dealing with what seems to be a simple idea that yields a striking result. Made entirely from wild silk, with 15 threads per knot, and a weaving density of 120 knots.
The Fort Street Studio company was established by a talented duo – Janis Provisor and Brad Davis. It is they who decided to channel their passion into interior decoration. Their works have previously been showcased at, for example, the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum, and Albright Knox Gallery.
Thanks to the immense creativity and superb skills of this married couple, a company was born that is different from others. It is based on original, interesting patterns and the finest materials. Fort Street Studio – the name comes from the address where the creators lived – has been setting trends in interior design for 20 years. In 2010, the FSS brand began collaborating with the French department store Hermès.
Every piece of the rug under the FSS logo is a unique creation, a synergy of artistic power and functional aesthetics.
