Model Karl creates an optical illusion that intrigues. It is a type of rug that you can gaze at for hours, following the network of lines and geometric figures with your eyes. Made entirely from wild silk with a weaving density of 120 knots.
The Fort Street Studio brand was founded by a pair of individualists with a substantial artistic background – Janis Provisor and Brad Davis. They transferred their love of art into interior design. Before jointly engaging in creating this new brand, their works were exhibited at, among others, the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum, and Albright Knox Gallery.
Thanks to their creativity and exceptional skills, these two created a unique company – based on original, uncommon patterns and carefully selected materials. Fort Street Studio – named after the street where they lived – has been setting new trends in interior decor for over two decades. The company has showcased its products at fairs in Paris, London, and Milan. In 2010, it also started collaborating with the French department store Hermès.
