Fort Street Studio was built from nothing by a talented pair of creators – Janis Provisor and Brad Davis. It was they who decided to channel their passion for art into interior design. Previously, their works were exhibited at, for example, the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum, or Albright Knox Gallery.
Thanks to the immense creativity and exceptional skills of this duo, a completely different company began to operate. Its concepts are based on original, interesting patterns and carefully selected materials. Fort Street Studio – the name comes from the street where the creators used to live – has been setting new trends in interior decoration for twenty years. FSS has showcased its products at fairs in Paris, London, and Milan, and in 2010, it began collaborating with the Hermès department store.
The main virtues of the Fort Street Studio brand are the noble quality of silk yarns and threads, a unique approach to dyeing, as well as meticulous color matching. Each carpet piece branded with the FSS logo is a kind of artwork, a synergy of artistic power and functional aesthetics.
