The Geo model is unique in many ways. Made from Thai silk with a weave density of 120 knots, it is handcrafted in one of the Thai villages in the north of the country. Only about 12 pieces of this model are produced annually, with each piece woven with passion and the highest craftsmanship.
Careful color matching, a completely new approach to dyeing, and the exceptional quality of silk yarns and threads are the main advantages of Fort Street Studio. Carpets from this brand are always a manifestation of artistry, a synergy of artistic power and functional aesthetics.
Fort Street Studio was founded by two talented creators – Janis Provisor and Brad Davis, who decided to channel their love of art into interior decoration. Their previous works, before jointly promoting the new brand, were exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, Whitney Museum, and Albright Knox Gallery.
Thanks to hard work, great ingenuity, and undeniable talent, a brand was created that is different from all others – based on unusual, inventive patterns and the finest materials. Fort Street Studio – the name comes from the street where the creators' house was located – has been setting new trends in interior design since 1997. The company has showcased its products at fairs in Paris, London, and Milan, and in 2010, collaborated with the French department store Hermès.
