How did it all begin ...

The history of SEBASTIANSTURM - Innovative Accessories begins in 2012. The initial idea — “Making wood portable!” — was part of Sebastian Sturm’s engineering thesis. He specializes in designing and producing protective covers and cases for notebooks and mobile phones, which are ultimately made from natural wood.

For this reason, in close cooperation with a veneer manufacturer, he developed a new veneer lamination technology, making it possible to produce wood that is not only durable but also flexible and three-dimensionally moldable. What initially seemed like a difficult challenge quickly proved to be promising.

As this development process proved successful, more and more people enthusiastically embraced his innovative concept. They were so inspired and excited about the new veneer that in the evenings, Sebastian would create designs for bag shapes, patterns, and material combinations.

Due to overwhelming feedback on the first prototypes, Sebastian Sturm was convinced that this idea could have potential and decided to conquer the fashion world.

From the beginning, he was determined to produce only exclusive products of the highest quality standards. Only environmentally friendly tanned leather was used. He also places great importance on craftsmanship quality during further processing. He found this craft at a traditional company in southern Germany. It is produced under high social standards. As a result of these efforts, each bag is a unique piece crafted by master artisans!
