iMuranesi is a unique project born in the mind of a descendant of one of the oldest Venetian families associated with the production of Venetian glass.

iMuranesi models are unique due to the synergy of many equally important elements. These include the beauty of the finish, the use of innovative creation techniques, tasteful and bold design, and a strong bond between the best designers and glassmakers.
iMuranesi is now a popular international company that combines contemporary creativity with the traditional values of Murano glass.

However, behind this designer model lies a tradition that dates back hundreds of years, when the authorities of the Venetian Republic decided to concentrate all glass-making artisans in one place. To this day, the name of this place is recognized worldwide, and the glass originating from there is breathtaking.

The Barbini family is one of the respected medieval families that left their mark in Venice as early as the second half of the 16th century.
In 1658, by decree of the Consiglio dei Dieci council, the Barbini clan was placed in the Golden Book of the Society of Murano, known as the book of the most distinguished glassmakers.
Additionally, the family was granted a coat of arms at that time – two heads of bearded sages facing each other with a star between them on a blue background – which can still be admired in the Glass Museum in Murano.
