Schiavon's solid silver cutlery sets come in a variety of styles to suit the most diversified tastes and needs, make for exclusive table settings. All the pieces are harmoniously designed, and therefore feel comfortable in your hand and are easy to use. The blades of the knives and accessories are created with 18/10 stainless steel coming from German steelworks. The blades are joined to the handles with certified eco-friendly food industry resins. The salad servers are made from genuine horn.
Pure silver has a brilliant white lustre, is very ductile and malleable, is sensitive to light, and is an excellent conductor of heat and electricity. Silver is non-toxic and has extraordinary antibacterial properties that do not alter the taste of food or beverages. Silver can be worked in many ways and rolled to an almost transparent thinness, but it must be alloyed with another metal (copper) in order to give it strength and durability.
