MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has taken on its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the interior accessories lines were gradually developed, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creativity in details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, which presents an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and signals success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products inspired by the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has led the brand to face new challenges of digitalization, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality to confirm the ongoing generational evolution. This way, the brand carries into the present a wealth of fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are made available to the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
