Albino Miranda is a Portuguese manufacturer creating unique furniture, closely linked to its creator. Since 1989, the owner started with sculptures, later expanding to cosmic furniture designs worldwide. Albino designs two product lines, named Gansk and Karpa respectively. Of course, many similarities can be found, but their styles differ significantly from each other.
Karpa features fascinating pieces that surpass any standard of design, which is why we fell so in love with them. They are closely connected to sculpture and the owner's passion. There is a clear influence of handcrafted work and chisel carving. Elegant styles are complemented by high-quality materials, which can be freely selected according to our individual projects. The sculptures, forming a whole with minimalist shapes, make a huge impression. It’s hard not to feel that the designer draws heavily from surrealism, nature, and the magic of design. The bases of stylish tables or consoles often resemble the roots of large trees. This creates a very enchanting blend and clearly has no equivalent among our other niche brands.
Meanwhile, the Gansk line features very modern designs crafted with a light touch. These are luxurious furniture pieces with simple and fresh shapes. They appear very lightweight and perfectly complement any stylish interior. Simplicity and slender lines provide every design enthusiast with a solid dose of functional art.
