After the global economic crisis of the late 1920s, industrial revival was lurking everywhere. Daimler-Benz AG wasted no time in developing new, innovative commercial vehicles at its Gaggenau factory, which gained fame for its efficiency and technical reliability. The offer of diesel engine trucks at that time was nothing short of a revolution.
