The New York brand's first steps date back to 2001, when Michael Mandapati decided to establish a company specializing in luxury rugs.
They are made using Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettles, hemp, and linen. For dyeing, mainly plants are used, which will surely appeal to those who care about ecology.
Each product is handcrafted in Nepal by highly skilled artisans. Afterwards, the rugs are shipped to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to increased lanolin content, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a distinctive shine.
