Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920, a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, when Sartori’s innovative carpet designs started gaining popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand seized this trend and expanded its Italian market designs worldwide. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it became necessary to open headquarters in China. An important project was launched in 2008. Following collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., a modern concept took shape: repurposing old carpets to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, aligned with a fresh and youthful style. This gave birth to the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This results in a unique and very special rug, made from noble materials and perfectly suited to contemporary environments and modern furniture needs.
