MARIONI is a family story

The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the visionary founder Paolo Marioni. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has taken on its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, paying close attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creative details and manual craftsmanship.

After Paolo’s untimely death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric, which forecasted success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has positioned the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of a proprietary archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as Head of Communications and Quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the company continues to build on fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
