These sheep graze at altitudes above 4200 meters above sea level, and their wool is rich in lanolin. This special wool characteristic makes Odegard Carpets rugs more stain-resistant.
Interesting shades result from manual processing and dyeing. Inspirations for rug production include a combination of Venetian fabrics, Tibetan and Buddhist symbols, art, architecture, and nature. Many motifs are inspired by the shapes of tropical leaves or the colors of the setting sun over the peaks of the majestic Himalayas.
All rugs from this brand are handmade from carefully selected silk and Himalayan wool yarns. The wool dyeing process is 100% natural, utilizing organic materials—nuts, roots, or saffron—while maintaining the highest quality.
