Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small manufactory seems completely detached from the trends that have taken place worldwide over the years. Their core principle is a commitment to tradition, which is now cultivated by the fourth generation of these excellent artisans.
The founders firmly reject the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the offered knives. For this reason, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to any innovations. They are very welcome, provided they introduce elements consistent with their existing vision and can withstand years of quality testing.
Unlike competitors, the individual stages of knife production are not handled by specialized groups of workers but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
