Founded in 1895 by David Berti, this small workshop seems to be entirely independent of the trends that have dominated the world over the years. Its most important value is a commitment to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of these Italian artisans.
The owners firmly reject the idea of mass production by unskilled labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of identity of the products. Therefore, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed staff. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to changes. They are very welcome, provided that they do not conflict with the existing philosophy and can withstand long-term quality tests.
Unlike others, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized groups of artisans but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
Only the best quality materials are used in production — blades are made of steel, while handles are made, among others, from bison, buffalo, or deer horns, or 'bosso' wood.
