How was the Porta Romana brand founded?
The brand dates back to 1988 and a small London workshop. The ambitions of the artisans producing these items led to the brand's development. The real breakthrough came with new British craftsmen who inspired the early creators. Over time, ideas grew more numerous, and Porta Romana became a global manufacturer.
How are Porta Romana product designs created?
The design studio is led by Shazeen Emambux. Artists discuss their concepts with craftsmen to create designer products. Each year, a new collection theme is introduced, each with its own unique character and style. The creation process is very lengthy, starting with 3D graphics that later evolve into prototypes.
