Prestigious conference table from Italy - Prof

Sessanta is an exclusive collection of desks, containers, and conference tables. It combines a careful selection of materials to harmoniously and alternately blend on the surfaces and volumes of the furniture. The 60 mm thickness is the common thread that distinguishes and unites the elements of the collection. Numerous finishes, from veneered wood, through Fenix colors, to wood and melamine in a solid color. Rectangular conference tables with simple and essential shapes have a 60 mm thick top composed of divided and combined tops in a refined play of geometry, which in the melamine and veneered wood version draw a particular intersection of veins. In the central part, there is a lowered chamber for channeling in the same color or in contrast with the top. The top can be entirely covered with saddle leather with visible stitching to give an even more elegant and refined look. The base is made of wood in finishes from the catalog. They are available in various sizes and can be freely composed in modular configurations, up to large dimensions.

In the round version, there is a conference table with a wooden top featuring a characteristic vein cut and a matte painted metal base.

Prof Office was born in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, a family industrial reality that produces prestigious office furniture systems, deeply rooted in the Italian north-eastern furniture district. Over these twenty years, Prof's economic path of development and growth has allowed it to look at the international market, contributing to the spread of Italian design and high quality worldwide. By consulting architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product offering.
Starting with executive design collections, it then developed operational systems, reception solutions, and conference rooms, up to partition walls. Today, this allows for offering complete and customized furnishing solutions for every workplace.

HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of Prof, along with the plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the province of Treviso, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of the most important industrial furniture districts in Europe. It occupies a total area of about 8700 sqm, of which 3600 are covered. The plant, specializing in the production of office furniture, is equipped to work in the wood department, assembly, packaging, warehouse, and shipping of finished products. The headquarters houses executive, commercial, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for receiving clients, and a showroom of over 400 sqm, showcasing all collections of luxury office furniture. In 2017, an expansion of over 1800 sqm was carried out, of which 640 sqm were allocated for production, 330 for new offices, and 830 for the new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The brand produces exclusively at the Falzè di Piave plant in the province of Treviso and always bases its identity on the utmost values of respect for people, the land, and materials. Very strong local roots and an innate "know-how" ability, which has evolved, also thanks to new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and also consolidate its success, continuing to combine tradition and innovation, adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof's production organization is focused on "just in time," which allows combining elements such as reliability, inventory reduction, and the increase of quality and customer service. The entire Prof network develops in Italy, mainly in the affiliated production district, where the vast majority of raw material and semi-finished product suppliers are located. Products are entirely designed and made in Italy to ensure a standard of constant excellence.

PROJECT

Research has always been a strategic element of the company's development policy, expressed through an internal Design Department that works closely with external designers and is constantly updated with technological and legislative evolution. Prof models are entirely designed and manufactured in Italy, fully compliant with European safety and hygiene standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

Prof provides comprehensive design and consulting services, including customer demand analysis, layout study with targeted and personalized furnishing proposals, along with technical drawings and rendering.

CUSTOMIZATION

Prof can propose and execute a personalized service on standard production models: from the production of oversized elements, through the search for new materials and finishes, to the creation of samples and prototypes. Thanks to its production versatility, over the years Prof has developed specialized knowledge in non-standard consumables, from small and medium projects to great personalized creations.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-compliant products and complaints, Prof maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical support and after-sales services along with full information, modifications, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

Prof's wide production flexibility allows, in addition to serial production, the realization of custom-defined projects tailored to the specific needs of the client. The Design Department is able to support the client or designer in the development and production of unique products, both in functional and aesthetic solutions, with completely individual finishes.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to the growing competitiveness of international markets by improving customer satisfaction and loyalty, rationalizing internal production processes, Prof obtained the ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Adopting a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, providing the opportunity for increasingly concrete business objectives. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to environmental issues, Prof focuses on maximum expertise in designing and producing office furniture with respect for the environment. Starting from carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses E1 certified boards in accordance with European formaldehyde emission regulations for both raw material and melamine.
Each panel is then marked by the Ecological Panel Consortium, guaranteeing that semi-finished products are made by reusing wood in a production process that does not involve tree cutting.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Prof's concrete commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, which regulates the impact of production activities on the environment, striving to systematically improve it. In 2015, during the same period of the company's twentieth anniversary, Prof introduced a new green mark to confirm and identify its commitment to environmental sustainability as an integral part of its business and production growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its "green" strategy, confirming its values of "sustainability" and "responsibility," by opting for a new electricity operator (Dolomiti Energia) sourced 100% from renewable sources.

ECO-PACKAGING

Prof continues its commitment to a production system capable of minimizing environmental impact. In 2016, Prof invested in a modern packaging machinery park using biodegradable cardboard, allowing for individual training in packaging. Optimization for specific products enables a significant reduction in packaging costs, storage, and consequently, waste for disposal. To improve waste management within the company, several separate collection points for post-production waste have been established. All are stored in special containers, which are then subjected to recycling processes.
