How did it all begin...

The history of SEBASTIANSTURM - Innovative Accessories begins in 2012. The initial thought - "I will make wood portable!" was part of Sebastian Sturm's master's thesis in engineering studies. He thus engaged in designing and producing protective covers and cases for notebooks and mobile phones, which were intended to be made from natural wood.

For this reason, in close cooperation with a veneer manufacturer, he developed a new veneering technology, which made it possible not only to produce wood that is durable but also flexible and malleable in three dimensions. What initially seemed like a difficult challenge quickly proved promising.

As this development process turned out to be successful, more and more people became enthusiastic about his innovative concept. They were so inspired and enthusiastic about the new veneer that he created designs for bag shapes, patterns, and material combinations in the evenings.

Due to the overwhelming feedback on the first samples, Sebastian Sturm was sure that this idea could have potential and decided to conquer the fashion world.

From the beginning, he was certain that he wanted to produce exclusively high-end products with the highest quality standards. Therefore, only environmentally friendly tanned leather was used. He also places great importance on the quality of workmanship when it comes to further processing. He found this art in a traditional company in southern Germany. It is produced to high social standards. The result of these efforts is that each bag is a unique piece crafted by master craftsmen!
